Biogas is a mix of mainly methane and carbon dioxide that is produced by anaerobic digestion. By fermenting biomass
(organic residual waste) you produce biogas. Fermentation is the conversion of biomass into biogas, this is done by means of bacteria. After the methane content has been brought to the same level as the natural gas, the biogas produced can be fed
directly into the gas network.
Fermentation also plays a major role in making the transport sector more sustainable. Biogas mainly consists of methane (CH4)
and carbon dioxide (CO2). By separating these two gases at the end of the process, both gases can serve their purpose. CH4 is converted to LBG/LBM to serve as fuel and CO2 can be reused as fertilizer in the field.

CLIMATE AGREEMENT
Converting organic waste into biogas is of great importance for the realization of the energy objectives of the Paris climate agreement. Due to climate and technical constraints, windmills, solar panels and hydropower can only achieve part of this target. That's why it's time for alternatives!
If climate change continues at this rate, it will threaten the liveability of our planet. That is why it is important to do everything possible to prevent this. In the Paris climate agreement it was agreed that we must combat global warming. Global warming must be limited to 1.5 degrees Celsius. To achieve these goals, drastic measures are needed!
SUSTAINABILITY
We work in a closed circle, starting and ending
with agriculture to maximize sustainability.
In the production of biogas, we only use organic
waste from the agricultural and food industry
that will be re-used in an ecologically and
economically responsible manner.

DO YOU WANT TO MAKE YOUR LOGISTICS MORE SUSTAINABLE?
As a company, do you want to make your logistics more sustainable and achieve a CO₂ reduction? There are various possibilities
to participate in our BIO LNG production locations. We develop, build and operate at various locations in Europe. We use local raw
materials for the production of sustainable biofuels.
